Born in 1972 in Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler, Waldorf pupil, trained as a photographer.

Trippen is particularly interested in fine-art photography.
Instead of dedicating himself to classic subjects,
he tries to capture the photographic potential of his home region with a series “Fine Art from Home”.
After a photographic trip to the USA,
he was more convinced than ever that “there's no place like home!”
All the more so as working as a photographer in his home region gives him the decisive home advantage.
