11/03/12: Japanese Community Markes Quake and Tsunami Anniversary
Japanese community unites around the world in tsunami memorial.
A moment of silence is hold this Sunday, March 11th at 6:30 in the forecourt of Human Rights at the Trocadero. At 6:46, the time of natural disaster, a minute's silence symbolized solidarity of Paris with the victims of Sendai.
The ceremony is initiated by Mr Takada Kenzo, a Japanese fashion designer and former founder of Kenzo brand.
With the presence of His Excellence Mr Ichiro Komatsu, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan in France.
Mr Christophe Girard, the Deputy Mayor of Paris in charge of Culture.
